Campus Operations

We will be updating this page on our website regularly. Please rest assured that we are constantly monitoring this situation and will provide you with updated information as soon as it is available.

Campus facilities teams have implemented additional cleaning measures to sanitize our schools during the closure. We will continue to disinfect classrooms and conduct a deep clean of all surfaces daily, including computers, headphones, desks, doorknobs, shelves, chairs and tables

Arizona: With the extended closure through the end of the school year, public schools in Arizona will not be required to extend the number of school days or add additional instructional hours. However, each public school will be required to offer students general educational opportunities for the duration of school closures.

At this time, our Legacy Preschool and Pre-kindergarten programs are currently closed. We remain committed to keeping Legacy’s Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten programs operational for families in need. However, the realities of the school closure impact our ability to adequately staff and maintain a safe and healthy school environment under the unique COVID-19 health advisories. As soon as we are able to staff to levels required by regulations, we will be in contact with you. We will not be charging tuition while the program is closed.

With the Governors of Arizona and Nevada officially closing campuses for the remainder of the year, Legacy Kids Care is cancelled.

Health

Parents, family members, school staff, and other adults can play an important role in helping children make sense of what they hear in a way that is honest and minimizes anxiety or fear. Please refer to the CDC, which has created guidance to help adults have conversations with children about COVID-19 and ways they can avoid contracting and spreading the disease.
