Legacy Traditional School announces founding principal for new Glendale campus

Ms. Tanya Beckwith has been hired to lead the new Legacy Traditional School (LTS) – Glendale campus at 67th Ave. and Thunderbird Rd. (13901 N 67th Ave, Glendale, AZ 85306), opening this Fall. Ms. Beckwith has more than 20 years of experience in various leadership roles and teaching positions in Scottsdale Unified School District and Paradise Valley School District. She most recently served as Assistant Director of Student Support Services in Adams 12 School District.

Ms. Beckwith received a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education and special education from Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, Illinois. She also earned a Master’s of Science degree in Educational Administration from Northern Illinois University in Dekalb, Illinois.

When LTS – Glendale opens, it will become the tenth campus in Arizona’s largest and highest rated K-8 charter network serving over 10,000 students in the 2016-2017 school year. The LTS network of tuition-free public schools is internationally accredited and A-rated by the State of Arizona. LTS was also voted the #1 charter school system in 2015 and 2016 by Ranking Arizona.
