Legacy Traditional School announces founding principal for new North Chandler campus

Mrs. Rebecca Pentland has been hired to lead the new Legacy Traditional School (LTS) – North Chandler campus at Warner Road and McQueen (1900 N McQueen Road, Chandler, AZ 85225), opening this Fall. Mrs. Pentland has over 6 years of experience in various leadership and teaching positions at LTS. She most recently served as Assistant Principal at LTS – Chandler and previously held the Instructional Coach position. Prior to that, she was the 6th grade Lead Teacher.

Mrs. Pentland earned a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona and a Masters of Education in Educational Leadership, also from Northern Arizona University.

When Legacy Traditional School – North Chandler opens, it will become the eleventh campus in Arizona’s largest and highest rated K-8 charter network serving over 10,000 students in the 2016-2017 school year. The LTS network of tuition-free public schools is internationally accredited and A-rated by the State of Arizona. LTS was also voted the #1 charter school system in 2015 and 2016 by Ranking Arizona.
