Legacy Traditional Schools, a network of public, tuition-free charter schools in Nevada and Arizona, announced today Dr. Eve Breier-Ramos as their Nevada board’s selection and appointment for superintendent of Legacy Traditional Schools – Nevada.
Dr. Breier-Ramos brings more than 15 years of experience in K-12 and higher education to her position, where she will lead the instructional and administrative growth of Legacy’s three K-8 campuses in southern Nevada: North Las Vegas, Cadence (Henderson), and the new Southwest Las Vegas campus opening this fall 2019.
“Dr. Breier-Ramos has an exceptional reputation throughout our state’s growing charter school sector. Her experience in school leadership, and in developing outstanding educators, will have a significant impact on the future and direction of our Legacy schools,” said Amanda Pratt, Legacy’s board president.
Dr. Breier-Ramos is the former principal at Imagine Schools at Mountain View, a K-12 charter school in Nevada. She previously held the role of campus college chair at University of Phoenix, where she ensured compliance and licensure for Nevada educator preparation programs. She also served as national director of Read MTI (Multisensory Training Institute) and as a literacy specialist for Clark County School District where she provided professional development and training programs for K-12 educators.
She holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and a Master of Science in Reading Education from Nova Southeastern University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of South Florida. She has been a member of the board of the Charter School Association of Nevada since 2014.
