Legacy Traditional Schools is happy to announce its receipt of 20,000 disposable facemasks as part of a drive-thru mask giveaway in Phoenix.

The masks were distributed through a joint effort sponsored by the Arizona Charter Schools Association and IQ Total Source, a product-sourcing company helping communities gain access to necessary face masks and other PPE during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“This is an important effort that will further bolster our schools’ public health preparedness and help protect our students, teachers, and staff members on campus,” said Nicole Kirkley, superintendent of Legacy Traditional Schools. “We’re grateful to be included in the distribution of these masks, and we applaud the Arizona Charter Schools Association and IQ Total Source for their efforts to keep Arizona students and teachers safe during the pandemic.”

More than 66,000 face masks have been delivered to Arizona public schools as part of the Mask Drive, held November 5-6 at the Arizona Charter Schools Association headquarters, in Phoenix.

Masks or facial coverings are mandated for all students, teachers, and staff members attending Legacy Traditional Schools in Arizona. Each campus has a detailed COVID-19 mitigation plan in place, including social distancing measures, sanitation protocols, and other safeguards. Further details are available online.
