Schools may be closed, but our education continues
We are committed to doing our part to keep students on track academically. As a school network, there’s no time like now to help students reach their full potential through inspired teaching and continued learning. The current global climate requires schools to have a clear vision for their students – our vision, to positively impact the lives of every student, is more important now than ever.
It is our commitment to our more than 20,000 students and future Legacy families, that we continue their education without disruption.

Launched on Mar 23, our academic teams built, from the ground up, a robust online option for students in kindergarten through eighth grade as we all navigate an uncertain future for the remainder of this school year. Students are supported by seasoned educators who provide virtual check-ins with students, timely feedback on assignments, and an adapted teaching style that meet the needs of every student in their online classrooms.
See how many students and teachers used our program in the first week.
To assist with virtual instruction, homework lessons are provided for pick-up for all students at Legacy campuses. Lessons include daily schedules, readings, and instructional content to use alongside student classwork packets. These will help reinforce what students are already comfortable with and are relevant grade-level lessons on pace with classroom curriculum and state standards.

Parent – I didn’t know what to expect on Monday, but after the first day everything pretty much went smoothly and got every assignment turned in before 2:00 today. My son liked having that one hour story time with his teacher everyday.
Each morning, our Legacy campus Facebook pages take part in a virtual Flag Ceremony that includes the Pledge of Allegiance and a moment of silence led by the Principal or designee. In addition, ceremonies can include a variety of patriotic songs, poems, original creative writing, or character instruction.
We do this to provide a sense of normalcy to our daily lives during these difficult times. It’s important to be true to our values and our Legacy culture even if through an online environment. Feel free to follow our campuses on Facebook to watch our daily flag ceremony.
Parent – This was great!! Feels good to have something “normal” in the day. Miss all of you and hope to see everyone soon. Take care
We are so excited to assist Legacy students and families in our communities with nutritious meals at no cost to individuals 18 or younger. Please drive through DriveLine on weekdays to receive breakfast and lunch!

These are difficult times for all families across our country and the world. We want to acknowledge the hard work, the stress, and the spirit everyone in the Legacy Family has shown for the past few weeks. It may be challenging to adapt to this new routine, and we want to thank all the students and families for their understanding and positive attitude. You are the reason we teach.
Parent – Thank you to the awesome admin and teachers at Legacy for helping make this unexpected transition as simple and painless as possible.
