Update on COVID-19

Friday, May 22, 2020 Thank You, Legacy Families

Thank You, Legacy Families!

Dear Legacy Families,

As we close the school year, we hope this note finds your families safe and well. Also, we want to thank you for responding to our end of year survey which asked for your opinions on a number of CDC-recommended COVID-19 safety measures that schools nationwide are considering.

Your feedback will serve to inform our task force that is studying the safe reopening of Legacy campuses throughout Arizona and Nevada. We aim to balance safety and practicality as we consider your level of comfort as you send your children back to school. As parents, we ask you to be patient, understanding and encouraging as we prepare a plan which should be finalized and communicated to you by the end of June.

When it comes to the 2020-2021 school year, with the exception of any additional executive orders, we plan to open our school doors and be fully operational in the fall. CDC guidelines for school safety, the practicing and teaching of precautions and the implementation of sanitizing measures are being studied. We plan to implement these systems with practicality and feasibility in mind.

We look forward to seeing your children on campus again when safety measures are in place — enabling students to return to their thriving environments with teachers and friends.

We thank you for taking such good care of them during this trying time!

Warm regards,
