This “Giving Tuesday” Find Out How You Can Volunteer at Legacy Traditional Schools!

 |  Information

“Giving Tuesday” was launched six years ago and has been observed annually since. The holiday falls on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving and popular seasonal shopping sale, “Black Friday,” and designates the beginning of the charitable season.

At Legacy, with our parent partners, we want to ask you to give back this holiday season as we strive to have more parent volunteers on-campus and at events. During the 2017-2018 school year, our Legacy families completed 59,749 hours of volunteer work!

Opportunities to volunteer are plentiful and range from spending a few hands-on hours in the classroom to partaking in after-school activities or preparing classroom and teacher materials at home.

In order to volunteer in the classroom, we ask that parents successfully complete a background screening through “Accurate Background,” pay a small fee and be approved by the administration. The process is brief and can be easily accessed on our Legacy shop sites.

Be sure to read The Quill, call or stop by your campus’ front office for opportunities, and more information as volunteer events become available.
