Thoughts and Prayers to Las Vegas

Dear Nevada and Arizona Legacy Traditional School Parents,

On Sunday night, a horrible tragedy occurred in Las Vegas at the Route 91 Harvest Festival. As our President said yesterday morning, “We are joined together today in shock, sadness and grief.” This act of violence has now claimed the lives of nearly 60 people and injured an estimated 500.

With Legacy as a new member of the North Las Vegas community – opening a new campus there just over a month ago – our thoughts and prayers are not only with the families and staff of our North Valley campus, but all those affected by this horrific incident locally and globally.

If you would like to help and support the Las Vegas Community, as well as those communities devastated by hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Maria please consider donating blood. Information on how and where to donate blood in Arizona and Nevada can be found here:

If you would like to donate money, the following organizations are helping the victims of this tragedy as well as residents of Houston, Florida, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands:

Finally, we remind all Legacy families of their access to the school psychologist at their child’s campus — should you or your family need counseling support or resources.

Please be advised that flags at Legacy Traditional Schools will remain half-staff at the direction of the President of the United States in remembrance of those who have died or were injured.

Sincerely,

Bill Bressler

Chief Academic Officer
