Update on COVID-19

Tuesday, April 21, 2020 Nevada Schools Closed Through End of School Year

Legacy families,

Today, Governor Steve Sisolak announced that schools in Nevada will remain closed through the end of the school year in an effort to limit the spread of COVID-19 in our communities.

At Legacy, we remain committed to providing online learning opportunities for our students, and we will continue our efforts to deliver a high level of instruction–now online–for the rest of the school year. You and your children can continue to expect support from our Legacy school community through weekly learning packets, teacher videos and daily flag ceremonies on Facebook.

Thank you for being our partner in your child’s education throughout these difficult times. We are proud of all our teachers, staff, parents and students for their ongoing dedication to remote learning and we look forward to supporting our school community in new ways the rest of this school year.

Stay safe,

Dr. Eve Breier
Deputy Superintendent
