Onsite Support Services

In accordance with Executive Order 2020-51, beginning Aug. 17, all Legacy campuses will make a physical space available between 8 a.m. and 2:40 p.m. to students who need a safe place to go during the day. Per ADHS, onsite support services are intended for students who need a safe option for in-person support and who otherwise could not access resources for virtual learning.

Please consider the following guidelines when determining whether your child is in need of onsite support services during online learning:

  • Students will still be expected to participate in online learning while on a Legacy campus.
  • To complete online learning, students may only bring a Legacy-issued laptop with them to school. All other devices will not be permitted. If they do not have a Legacy-issued laptop, there will be very limited computers available on campus for students to complete their school work.
  • Students will be expected to meet Legacy’s behavioral expectations.
  • Teachers will not be providing live instruction to students.
  • Students are not required to be in uniform but must follow Legacy’s dress code for dress down days (pg. 54 in the Parent/Student Handbook).
  • Students will be able to purchase lunch from the school. Meals will not be free, but students who qualify for free or reduced-price meals will be offered meals at those rates.
  • As required by state/local authorities, students will be expected to wear face coverings while on campus.
  • Before and after school care will not be available for students participating in onsite support services. Legacy Kids Care will only be available once in-person learning resumes.
  • Phase 3 Guidelines for  Students
    • As required by state/local authorities, students and staff will be expected to wear face coverings while on campus. Students are expected to conduct a self-screening of body temperature and other COVID-19-related symptoms prior to arriving on campus.
    • Students will wash their hands at least every 2 hours, before and after lunch, and before and after leaving the classroom.
    • There will be a modified lunch schedule for students that need to attend full-day.
    • Parents and visitors will not be permitted on campus. Students may only be picked up through the Driveline process, with the exception of late drop-offs and early pick-ups.

If you are in need of onsite support services beginning Aug. 17, you will need to complete the following form by 4 p.m. each Thursday for the following week indicating the day(s) in which your child will need to be on campus. You will need to sign up each week.

Families can register their child(ren) for onsite support services from Tuesday to Thursday at 4 p.m. for the upcoming week. If you are seeing this message, please try again during the registration window or contact your front office if you need any assistance.
