LEGACY TRADITIONAL SCHOOLS HOSTS NIGHTLY FACEBOOK LIVES FOR STUDENTS AND PARENTS DURING HEALTH AND WELLNESS WEEK
Each Legacy Campus Will Host a Facebook Live with Special Guest Speakers Including Lyndsey Fry, 2014 U.S. Women’s Hockey Silver Medalist
Legacy Traditional Schools, a network of tuition-free public schools, is celebrating Health and Wellness Week by hosting nightly Facebook Lives for parents and students that focus on several health topics accompanied by special guest speakers.
The Health and Wellness Facebook Lives will be hosted on each Legacy campus’ Facebook page starting at 6 p.m. and will feature the following:
- Monday, May 10 – Sun Safety presented by the American Cancer Society and Banner M.D. Anderson’s T.W. Wellness Melanoma Center
- Tuesday, May 11 – Healthy Eating & Nutrition presented by the Dr. Yum Project
- Wednesday, May 12 – Exercises to stay active & healthy over summer break presented by Ignite Sports Performance
- Thursday, May 13 – Mindfulness in Children presented by Mindfulness First
- Friday, May 14 – ‘Pursuing Your Goals’ presented by Lyndsey Fry, former U.S. Women’s Hockey Silver Medalist and current Arizona Coyotes Radio Color Analyst
